Mobility and Maintenance
* Choose 1-2 Thoracic Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
* Choose 2-3 Lower Body Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 10-12 minutes with them.
* Choose 1-2 Upper Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
– AND/OR –
* Body work from a licensed body worker (ART, Graston, acupuncture, etc…)
B.
Nutrition Preparation
* Ensure that you have quality foods prepared in the appropriate quantities to fuel your efforts for the remainder of the week.
C.
Mental Restoration
* Different for everyone – could be meditation or could be gathering with friends; the key is to engage in activities that make your life full and help you recharge your batteries.
Thursday’s performance wod: Today’s my Monday.
A) #130, fx4. This has been my 1-rm since last August :< Re-grouped, visualized and practiced my pull. #130×2! Yay! #135×6 pulls, just to practice.
B) 12:48, rx.
Used my compex machine today on my shoulders, they feel much better today than they have n weeks! and some of the Kelly Star mobility drills. Thank you for the rest day 🙂
Thank the good Lord that it is a rest day. This is my first week and I have seen a lot of improvement already. I am just not use to this work load so this is a much much needed ‘day off’ for me. Keep up the awesome work down there, I’m loving it!
