B. 16:27 had to use the assault bike because the PM5 on my rower wouldn’t turn on. That sucked big time.

A.) used a DB crossed between legs. Got up to a single at 50 lbs.

B.) Saving the legs for a bike ride, so did some heavy farmer carries, and more pullups.

I’be been following the workouts consistently, just not posting recently. Going to try to start posting again this week more regularly. Hope you are all well!

Seems Performance is hard for me, compared to other members results 🙁

A. First time really doing much weighted pull ups.
Used my vest. With 20lb x4, 25×4, 35×6, 45×4, 55×3, 55×3

B. As prescribed 16;30
Rows felt slow today. Mostly the mid 900Cal/hr
Each round was 15,15 for KB swings
Pullups 10,10 / 8,7,5 / 8,7,5
Little bit of a hard time pushing hard this morning. Felt like I just went through the motions. Damn kids are sucking the sleep right out of me!!

Monster weight pull ups! Super close on PR attempt. Smart using KB and such, I’ve been using plates and it gets cumbersome so I might try that next time. You killed it today, youngster

Great work TLH!! I’m glad you posted that video…I have a really bad habit of raising my knees when doing strict pull ups…I’ve been focusing on not doing that because I thought it may not be considered strict…????

I normally cross my ankles and keep my legs straight when I’m in my high bar, but when i do weighted I can’t do that because of the weights hanging down banging into my legs (also the only time I use my squat stand pull-up bar). I think as long as you don’t kip or translate upward motion you’re good.

Yesterday: A) 5 rounds, not for time: 20 DUs + 3 C2B +3 Dips Splits for DUs were UB on the first 3 rounds then 14/6 and 3/17, major improvements showing here; Rx was RMU work which I subbed for C2B and Dips but had to do C2B in singles as I used a low bar, dips were UB. Ouch, this got ugly, all that pulling had me breaking up my PU’s in sets of 5. Nice overload on the pull volume, it’s something I need to work on.

Warmup: 10 band pull aparts, palms down + 10 band pull downs from OH + 10 band pull aparts, palms up; then tie your band to a post and complete 20 overhead lat pull downs Then: 10 scap pullups + 5/5 single arm ring row (or bent over row) + :30 weighted hollow hold x 2 sets If you’re going to be building to a heavy single, complete a few unweighted strict pull-ups.
