I’m in nursing school and missed the last two days because of clinical but this was a great come back. We’ve been doing these workouts since January and I’ve seen SO much growth! Thank you!

Matthew, I live in NJ and post daily. The coaches are great and always willing to help. I think we encourage you to post. It keeps you accountable 🙂 happy WOD’ing
You BETTER keep posting! 🙂 That’s what we are here for! We know everyone can’t make it into one of our physical facilities so we created this online community where you can receive coaching and support. Welcome!
21:26 – Thank you all very much for letting me drop in!
Come back soon!

You are so awesome! This online crew we have is a great community! 🙂
I really had no time to workout today…mtgs at work and son at MD, (dx with mono ?)
But saw longhorns post…and knew I had to make time 🙂
Used mile run as my warmup and grabbed 30# dumbells instead of barbell, and had to break the strict pullups into 3 sections, otherwise it would have been single, single, single…

Sorry to hear your son isn’t feeling well. Super cool of you to bust this out for the Longhorn despite your crazy day! Hope things settle down and your son gets back to normal!
I’m on my way to the lake (lake of the ozarks) for a long birthday weekend! So should get some r+r. Wondering if I should mention it to the coach at the box I’m dropping into…ya know, for birthday burpees purposes. Lol 😉
Oh the Ozarks! I used to go there as a kid with a friend’s family. So much fun skiing and tubing! Watch out for snakes! And Happy Birthday!
The ozarks is my happy place! Did you live in the Midwest? I haven’t had too many snake encounters…scorpions have ended up in our bed and been stepped on though!
Thanks for the birthday shout out. 39! One year closer to masters, woo-hoo!
27:04 damn I’m slow ?
What part slowed you down?
If I remember, the run took me 8+min. I can do sooo much better than this. My best 1 mile is 6:00. Could be age, could be motivation. Burpees, just sucked all around. First 10, no problem, last 16, ugg. Thrusters, got through first 10 unbroken, then did, 5,5,3,3. K2E- did 10 5/5/3/3 (mainly due to grip and the sweat. Can’t us chalk and bar is painted so it is slick) no long rest here. KB’s, no real issues – 16 then 10 (with a 5-10 sec rest in between) I struggle with the endurance part since starting CF back… Read more »
I think all that stuff will get better with consistency. I’ve seen you posting every day on here so just keep giving full effort each workout and good things are soon to come!
Just need to push harder. I think running more may help with the endurance and building the “wind”. I’ll give it a try over the next few weeks. Maybe a short run in the AM will help with the endurance. I usually workout in the evenings. Just need to make sure to fuel properly.
Hey man! I turn 39 tomorrow! No blaming it on age, lol! Just be consistent, keep grinding. Some days you will rock, some days you will get rocked. Enjoy the process, revel in your successes, and learn from your mistakes 🙂
LOL- thanks @ambernollen:disqus! It’s the only thing i can think of 🙂
I do keep grinding, everyday. That motivation, i don’t need. I also enjoy sports and can still hang with those 20 somethings. It’s just in the WODs that I feel exhausted.
I love your statement though, “Enjoy the process, revel in your successes, and learn from your mistakes :)” Something I need to live by more everyday.
Short on time scaled 20%
0.8 mile
21 reps = 19:24
Good scale option!

Sub 20!
Did the workout from yesterday this morning. Worked to 365 and did the workout not for time at 255. I couldn’t figure out my rhythm for the chest to bar at first.
Awesome stories to read. Thanks for everyone who shared. 20:24 Rx with Russian swings today
Nice work, Michael!
5k on AssaultBike instead of running + 2x24kg kettlebells thrusters.

For thelonghorn’s brother – happy I waited to do this this afternoon – thanks for sharing your story.
Crushed it!
20:04rx longhorn that is perspective thanks for sharing true inspiration brother
Just started the programming last week. Loving it so far! RX 22:01. Cheers
Welcome, Izzy! Great job today!
My younger brother suffered several massive(6+ hrs) eplileptic seizures when he was an infant resulting in brain damage. He’s endured 10,000+ seizures in his lifetime and as a result has the function of approximately an 18-month old. Despite that, he’s a fighter and has always been an irreplaceable part of our family. Epilepsy sucks.
This one was for you bud.
17:37Rx
Thanks for sharing your personal experience with this. Most don’t realize how many people this affects. Here’s to your brother!
Thanks for sharing! Nice work today. I was gunning for your time…I was over a minute behind ya!
Thank you for sharing!!!!! I did the workout yesterday in honor of all those who’ve suffered from epilepsy!
In the park?
I did it at a track with 2 friends!
