For time:
Run 5k -or- Row 5k

My preference is that you run outside. If you’re running outside, note the course as this will be something we come back to each quarter as a good test of your aerobic capacity.

Cross country run this morning
13km
1h12m43s
Avg pace 5:35/km
With 8# weighted vest
At 10km I was at 56:30. Goal is to do under 50:00 and as close as possible to 45:00 in 10km race at the end of June. Was the first time using the vest, didn’t dare go heavier and it turned out to be perfect for today. Rest tomorrow, possibly Murph minus the runs on monday
Have a great weekend everyone!

It was great fun thanks, nice to give assault bike and ski erg a go, although the final workout was painful. Burger time! Hope you’re having a great weekend

I was going to message! It wasn’t an airbike brand I recognised, so assume it’s counts calories a bit more like a Schwinn (x1.5 assault?). Went really hard though, felt like my quads were going to cramp for about 5 mins after!!

Hahaha I’m pretty it counted calories quicker than an assault! Wasn’t a brand I’d seen before. Although I did do it fresh, I think I’d be up there in the 40s with you on a similar machine

I did a couple of workouts this morning at 830am with a buddy, practicing for a doubles comp in 2 weeks. At 930 at night after being out for a BBQ and putting kids to bed I got rowing. 5K row – 19:25 This was pretty good. Held a 1:57-1:58 pace for the first 15 mins, then brought it home faster. I think my historic PR is 19:20 from years ago, but considering my tummy bug I’ve only just recovered from, the workouts this morning and last night (those back squats killed my glutes!) and my level of fatigue having… Read more »
