“Get A Grip”
Teams of two must complete 100 repetitions of the following complex:
1 Deadlift
1 Squat Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Push Press
1 Push Jerk
The weight (95 lbs for men, 65 lbs for women) cannot touch the floor at any point during the workout. The partner who hands the bar off must immediately run 400 meters before he or she may receive the weight back from his or her partner.
What a mess. Had perhaps one too many whiskeys last night so after 3 rounds (8-7-5) I totally ran out of f*cks to give. Needless to say the remaining 35 reps were a real struggle. Ended up 8-7-5-5-5-5-5-5-5, in about 52 mins. Yeesh.
Did this with my nephew. He did Rx and I did 95/85/75/75/75. So we did sets of 10 clusters and it was not easy.

Killer of a last workout before we head out on a 10-day family RV trip:-) We split the work into ten reps of the complex, then drop and run while the other person did ten. It was super hard and we were dying! We probably won’t be on here much for the next week or so, but we’ll try and fit in some campground workouts for sure! Keep working hard everybody!

I realized I was in trouble round 1 when I did everything unbroken and it was over 3 minutes. All of the elements were unbroken except for the toes to bar and pull-ups both of which got ugly quick.

It absolutely was. My wife has far to high of a view of me, and the coach backed down some of the loads. I might still be doing it otherwise.
The last movement is the best; definitely a variable movement based on how wiggly the kiddo is.
It totally was. My wife and I have a 9, 7, 4, and 6 month old, and by far the most difficult one to carry was the 4 year old. She didn’t grab on tightly enough to support herself and she squirmed all over the place. A bonus was that the oldest three took turns doing the moves they could do alongside me.
That workout looks awesome and totally horrible all at the same time. Good to know that u didn’t have to carry all of your children at once! Beautiful family Mike!

Performed as 50 of each movement. I stopped and ran 400 between each movement and after 25 reps of each movement. I def just looked at this a task to complete. At my old gym Fridays were eat the elephant day.Just one But at a time.
