Load should be challenging, but without sacrificing sound mechanics. Don’t exceed 70% of today’s 3-RM.

3 Dumbbell Front Squats (50/35 lb DBs)
3 Dumbbell Ground to Overhead (50/35 lb DBs)

Complete as many rounds and reps possible in 60 seconds. Your score will be recorded as your total number of reps accumulated in the 60 seconds. For the Ground to Overhead, you must simultaneously touch one head of each dumbbell to the ground to begin the repetition.

A. Worked up to 175 or 185 lbs (can’t remember). Felt good – just need to start doing them more!

B. I did yesterdays Performance workout in 8:04 as prescribed

A. Up to 295 (30# off 3RM). Went with no belt and my form started to go so I stopped.

B. Done with 205#. All rds around :30. Had a few trips on DU but most rds were UB.

C. Day 34 of 1/2mi lunges. Decided I’m going to do 70 days so I’ll have lunged my age in miles (35).

A. yesterday’s bench @ 165#
B. 345 raw (no belt or chalk). 3rm was 350
C. 245# rx; 2 misses total in min 13 and min 15.
