Warm-Up.

Two sets of:
Assault Bike x 60 seconds
Kettlebell Sumo Deadlift x 12-20 reps

Followed by…

Two sets of:
“Depth Drop Warm-up”
Depth Drop x 1
Depth Drop + Max Height Jump x 2
Depth Drop + Broad Jump x 3

Then…

A.
Four sets of:
Deadlift x 3-5 reps @ 20X1
Rest 20 seconds
Tall Box Jumps x 5 reps
(land as high and soft as possible, then step down, reset and repeat – the goal is to jump as high as possible on every repetition)
Rest 3 minutes

B.
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 8 minutes of:
15 Kettlebell Swings (24/16 kg)
5 Burpee Box Jump-Overs (24″/20″)

Deadlifts felt great tonight until they didn’t. The weight moved well each set and after the last one my lower back tightened up. No metcon for me today.

I drastically underestimated how fatigued my hip flexors were for those final BBJ’s. Used Getty as motivation on DL today 👍👏 This group rocks!! Not sure, but pretty close to a 5RM @ 440 on the 4th set

Deadlifts @ 365 x 5 all sets working on sumo style as fits my frame better.

24” Jumps (legs were smoked) been doing a speed / agility program in afternoons with lots of cone drills, ladders, hurdles, and sprints.

Have been doing (2) a-days and did a whole KB routine last night with wifey so did CrossFit Main WOD instead.
