Workout of the Day

A.
Three sets, for speed & efficiency of individual movements, not the full set, of:
15′ Rope Climb x 2 reps
Double-Unders x 50 reps
Kipping Handstand Push-Ups x 10 reps
Toes to Bar x 10 reps

B.
Take 10-15 minutes to build to a heavy-ish Clean & Jerk

C.
Four sets of:
Overhead Squat x 3 reps

Take these from the rack.

D.
For time:
Row 1000 Meters
50 Thrusters

A) Done

B) Went to 135lbs. Shoulders are really tight!

c) 115/125/130/135 (for 1 rep)

D) Skipped. Had to coach a class. But did an hour of mobility to work on those shoulders afterwards.

Felt really tired coming in but I’m glad I moved a little. My shoulder blades are so knotted that it’s giving me shoulder pain. I will really need to work on that in the next week.

B. Skipped cuz no time

C. Worked up to 225. Didn’t feel very good today so shut it down.

D. 4:53… Probably not my fastest but quads were messed.

Tough day but glad I got a sweat on 🙂 Terrence, that sounded gross but great time! 🙂

A. Complete, added more reps though

B. Worked heavy Deadlifts instead, really need them.

C. Got up to my starting weight

D. 5:55 with 75# UB, that was gross.

Was so tired today from a crazy day at work yesterday but I trained and I did it all. Everything felt good. The mini Jackie was a bit slow but I know I will be rested and faster next Friday!!!

Back home late last night. In the gym today: A – check. Everything went well. Arm is feeling great so T2B were no issue. HSPU are getting good and quick. B – worked up to 235lb. It popped nice, was feeling spry. Went for a PR at 255lb. Nailed the clean hard. Pressed out the jerk just a tad cause I didn’t get low enough. It’s the most weight i’ve ever put over my head so I’ll take it for now. C – 185/195/205/205. Felt the best today so far. Should possibly be able to push it to 215 with… Read more »
