Running Mechanics Drills
Two sets of:
Charlie’s Angels Drills
Carioca Drill
Pulling with Forward Movement

Followed by…
100 Meter Sprint @ 60% effort
Rest 30 seconds
200 Meter Sprint @ 70% effort
Rest 30 seconds
100 Meter Sprint @ 80% effort

C.
Three sets of:
300 meter run
Rest 60 seconds
600 meter run
Rest 2 minutes

< 5:30 minute mile pace – 1:20 per lap

Cold temps and snow discourage running outdoors. Nicole, how do you feel about treadmill work or would it be more beneficial to bike and Row?

Did A and C only on a treadmill. Haven’t used one in 3-4yrs, but we have one at school.
Didn’t really time runs–did .2 miles for 300 and .4 for 600m. Just testing out running with knee again and it seemed fine, way easier than running outdoors.

For the record, I’m still following along, but I tweaked that same shoulder again last week with all the BMU’s and I’m trying to lie low this week with the OH work (no thrusters, jerks, PU’s, etc.). I worked on cleans, DL’s, FS and yesterday did light snatches and presses. But I’m still with ya here. 🙂
