Rules and Standards:
For events 9-12, athletes must work off of a running clock – and must wait to start the event at the noted times.

Event 9: Athletes will have 4 minutes to accumulate as many repetitions as possible of the couplet. These are standard wall ball shots, hip crease below the top of the knee at the bottom and ball must make contact with the 10’ target. Athletes should enter their score as total repetitions – e.g., 2 rounds + 11 calories should be entered as 111 reps.

Event 10: Athletes will have 4 minutes to accumulate as many repetitions as possible of the couplet. Deadlift standards are simple, start from the floor and finish at full hip and knee extension so that you can demonstrate a straight line from shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. Athletes should enter their score as total repetitions – e.g., 2 rounds + 11 deadlifts should be entered as 111 reps.

Event 11: Athletes will have 4 minutes to accumulate as many repetitions as possible of the couplet. Athletes must touch their chest to the ground on one side of the box, get up and jump with two feet either onto or over the top of the box to receive credit for a repetition. Athletes should enter their score as total repetitions – e.g., 1 round + 10 wall ball shots should be entered as 85 reps.

Event 12: Event 12 begins when the clock hits 15:00. Athletes will perform this chipper for time, and note the duration that it took to finish the event – i.e., subtract 15 minutes from the time on the running clock so that you enter 5:18…not 20:18.

That’s it! We hope you had as much fun with this competition as our entire crew has. We will get to work tallying results and will announce those on Saturday. If you missed a day due to travel, hit it hard on Thursday and get your score in as quickly as possible. All scores must be in by Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the very latest. Finally, if you have any questions or observations, please let us know!

One week behind also. Core definitely felt two days of online comp event but I agree it was worthwhile to drag myself to the box.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and dreaded each day of this online competition – even though I am a week behind – today was a challenge just to drag myself to the box, then I quickly convinced someone to jump in with me and take on this crazy little workout. Here are my results for today 9. 90 reps 10. 90 reps 11. 50 reps burpee box jumps seemed to last an eternity 12. 6:05 Not the biggest fan of wall balls but I never had to break them up, however the stuff I thought was going to be “easy” for me… Read more »

Really enjoyed the online competition, great WODs. Showed up some big holes in my game and also a number of areas for improvement. A timely kick in the butt!! Looking forward to seeing the scores and analysis on Sunday.

I did not warm up right. I felt as though I may die the first two parts but then once that was done, I felt ready. Was strange. I have not pushed that hard since the open. Felt good/bad.

@11 and 12 yes, those burpees were brutal in this format. I remind myself “life is chipper” and just keep making small steps.

Day 2 of Comp: Event 5: Bench Press – 120# Event 6: 65 reps – (1st time doing DU since sx 🙂 ) -missed a few times, but there coming back slowly. Event 7: CTB – done, 95# used for C & J Event 8: Holy mother of Mary… I think I caught every single one of my MU at my arm-pits and had a very, very strict dip out of it!! Used 75# for Thrusters (no pain – should have gone heavier) and only missed 2 MU (slipped). 24:17. There were times I was just “waiting.” My arms were… Read more »
