The champ…lil’ Lauren Fisher! Lauren swept gold medals in the snatch (75 kg), clean & jerk (102 kg) and total (177 kg) at USAW Junior Nationals.

I couldn’t be more proud of her…not just of the way she competed today, but more importantly in the countless hours she has spent training her butt off over the last couple of years. She is one of the most dedicated and passionate athletes I have ever worked with, and all of her hard work is paying off. Through it all she has remained humble and eager to keep reaching for her athletic potential. So proud of you lil’ Fish!

Huge thank you as well to Nichole DeHart, who not only did an excellent job of helping Lauren in Denver, but has been an amazing role model, mentor and friend to Lauren over the last couple of years at Invictus.
