Roosh has been with the Invictus Family since June of this year after giving CrossFit a try while working remotely in Bali. You can find him in both the daytime and evening classes, working hard and bringing nothing less than his best effort and his contagious smile to the floor. He’s always asking questions to improve his technique and to learn something new. Roosh works hard at conquering his goals, and every day tries something that puts him outside of his comfort zone.
What brings Roosh and his awesome energy into the gym every day?
“I think it’s a combination of the community of motivated athletes/coaches and also being able to see my progressions in lifts and movements over time. When I started out I didn’t feel comfortable with any of the movements and couldn’t even do a single pull-up. I’m still not where I want to be but I’m a hell of a lot closer than when I started.”
You can often find him pushing a sled, doing some squats, or carrying around something heavy with Cade encouraging (aka yelling in his face)!
Roosh is a living and breathing example of what our Sorrento Valley community is all about – he works hard, celebrates his and others successes, and brings positivity and courage every time he walks through our doors. Roosh loves Chipotle Burrito Bowls, so take a Taco Tuesday to “taco-bout” all of the incredible things Roosh brings to the gym! Thanks for being an awesome member of our community, Roosh!
