Are you ready to take your fitness to the next level? The Invictus Athlete and Masters community is excited to announce our newest training cycle, “Brick House,” launching on August 19th. This 8-week program is designed for those who are serious about making significant gains in strength, endurance, and overall fitness. Whether you’re a seasoned CrossFit athlete or someone looking to build a solid foundation, this cycle is your ticket to becoming the strongest version of yourself.

What to Expect from the “Brick House” Cycle

The “Brick House” cycle is all about building strength from the ground up. We’ve crafted this program to focus on foundational lifts that are essential for any athlete looking to improve their performance. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect over the next 8 weeks:

Foundational Strength Lifts

At the core of the “Brick House” cycle are foundational lifts like squats and deadlifts. These movements are staples for building strength and power, and you’ll be performing them regularly throughout the cycle. Expect to see multiple squatting sessions per week, allowing you to build lower body strength and improve your lifting technique. Deadlifts will also play a key role, helping you develop a strong posterior chain and improve overall functional fitness.

Olympic Lifting

In addition to foundational strength work, athletes will engage in at least two Olympic lifting sessions per week. These sessions are designed to enhance your explosive power, coordination, and technical proficiency in lifts like the snatch and clean & jerk. Whether you’re looking to hit a new PR or refine your technique, these Olympic lifting sessions will provide the perfect opportunity to do so.

Accessory Work

To ensure balanced development, the “Brick House” cycle includes targeted accessory work. These exercises are designed to support your primary lifts, improve muscular imbalances, and enhance overall strength. Expect a variety of movements that focus on core stability, mobility, and functional strength, all of which are crucial for injury prevention and long-term progress.

Aerobic Conditioning
