A Fantastic Resource for Our Community: the Invictus Post-Workout Supplementation Book
(Foreword from the book)
Written by C.J. Martin

As a coach and business owner, two concepts have been instrumental in my professional growth:

1. I surround myself with individuals who are smarter than I am – and who have strengths and expertise in areas in which I am less comfortable.

2. I am open to learning and trying new concepts, but generally skeptical of their claims of success until we have experienced them first hand.

The importance of these two operating principles has been strikingly apparent when it comes to the topic of performance nutrition and supplementation.

Over the last 10 years we’ve been “blessed” with access to hundreds of web-based nutrition “experts” and their various one-size fits all plans. Ironically enough, many of these so-called experts also have a supplement product to sell you that fits beautifully with their dogmatic approach to nutrition.

I found myself dedicating countless hours to courses and studying better ways to help my athletes, only to be frustrated with my inability to keep up with the onslaught of information. Luckily, I had someone much smarter than myself by my side to help filter the valuable information from the steady stream of nonsense; and we had an incredible group of athletes we observed on a daily basis and from whom we could gather valuable insights.

Since I began coaching, Calvin Sun has been a trusted advisor. He’s as dedicated to learning as anyone I have met. When the questions kept coming in about performance nutrition and supplementation, Calvin was the guy I turned to for help. Over time, he became one of the most knowledgeable resources on the topic. The problem was, the questions kept coming in, and we had to educate every new athlete from scratch. There simply weren’t many resources we could recommend to our athletes to get good, comprehensive guidance on supplementation and post-workout nutrition.

In the spirit of continually delivering excellence to our community, we decided to create an actionable guide that offered a balance of theory and practical application. I’m proud to say that Calvin has put together a fantastic resource for our community. In this book, you’ll find an evidence-based approach to utilizing supplements and properly refueling after training. I hope you will find this book to be a valuable resource in your athletic arsenal, and trust it will serve you in the pursuit of becoming unconquerable in all that you do.

Look for advice published by academic writers that you can find through https://bestwritersonline.com/ reviews. The first step to writing an essay about a book is to understand your purpose for writing it. The goal of writing an essay is to express your personal opinion on a book. You can discuss what you liked and didn’t like about a book, and provide an overview of the plot and main points of the book. In addition, you can highlight certain points that might interest the reader.
