Bryce holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and a number of CrossFit Certifications. He is also a certified EMT and Firefighter with the LAFD. He began his coaching career as a student assistant strength and conditioning coach at California State University, Northridge, where he worked Worked with a variety of teams. Simultaneously while at Northridge, he also worked at Valley CrossFit with games athletes Rebecca Voigt and Kristen Clever before joining the Invictus Coaching Staff in 2014.
Bryce believes training should be fun. Coaching enables him a way to help a large population learn to be better than yesterday and leave a footprint on this earth. His favorite aspect of coaching is motivating athletes and empowering them to maximize their potential and helping them to grow and blossom the way they were meant to. He believes that, as an athlete, you are limited as to how many people you can touch, but as a coach you can have the domino effect. He views Invictus as an adult playground with the goal being to enhance the quality of your life and his definition of CrossFit is constantly varied high intensity playing around!
Bryce has accomplished many athletic endeavors including Division 1 college basketball player, European League Basketball Player, CrossFit Regionals Team Athlete 2013 (Valley CrossFit), 2014 (Valley CrossFit), 2015 (Team Invictus qualifying us for the CrossFit Games).
Anyone who has taken a session from Bryce knows he loves his fun facts. His favorite movie is The Sandlot and his favorite beverage is chocolate milk.
