While we highly encourage everyone to partake in this workout in some fashion to honor a great hero, we want to make sure that everyone is able to do so in a safe manner. Please do not hesitate to adapt the workout to fit your fitness level and capability; and please be particularly cautious if you have been training less than normal during this COVID quarantine period. “Murph”
For time:
Run 1 Mile
100 Pull-Ups
200 Push-Ups
300 Air Squats
Run 1 Mile
If possible, perform with a 20/14 lb weight vest or body armor. While some of us who have been doing this a while always did this as a chipper, and it was done that way at Games, I do not suggest performing it that way. It is tough on the body and can potentially ruin the rest of your training week. Please partition the pull-ups, push-ups and air squats. You may choose to partition them however you’d like, but the typical way is to perform this as 20 rounds of “Cindy” – 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 air squats, sandwiched between two one mile runs. Please be safe.

Used KB swings for pull-ups since no pull-up bar
Run was 3/4 of the way up hill ?added a little spice to it!
Happy Memorial Day!
The run would have made those swings interesting too! Great work!
Happy Memorial Day!!
Haven’t been posting it I’ve been following a week behind on the squats and deadlifts. Doing conditioning with what I have at home.
B) Murph
Unpartitioned, strict pull ups, no vest: 50:01
Solid performance!! Let’s get you posting on the current day even if you’re a week behind. I like to help and track your progress! ??
Did Murph this morning before getting off shift.
41:40 with a Air pack but no bottle. Did 4/8/12 on push ups, pull ups, and air squats
Didn’t want to keep smashing my head into the air bottle haha
Last year got 39:30 with no vest or air pack. So I’ll take my time from today as an achievement since it was weighted
I’d consider that a huge PR! Great work!!
Murph: 47.53 (did 100 inverted rows (from the kitchen table) instead of the pull-ups) This was the first time I did Murph with the run and with only neat push-ups (last year after 100 push-ups they became a bit snakey and I did 3 mile assault bike instead of the runs, time 48.49). The run took me a lot longer than the assault bike took, during the first run my calves started hurting, so the second run was pretty painful and a mental battle, but I ran about as fast as the first mile. I partioned the workout into 20… Read more »

B. First time doing Murph, no vest, strict pullups. 40.29.
Wanted sub 40 so bad but had no juice left in my legs..should’ve pushed the pullups/pushups/squats a bit harder. Happy with the effort and the opportunity to chip in on this ???
Good thing is we will be doing this again in 1 year so you will have to beat the 40 time when it comes around again!
Great work! Sub 40 next year!!
Thanks guys ? Def will go sub 40 in a year ?
Howdy!
Had to do my first strict Murph ever and ended up with a PR, 37:55, With a #20 vest.
Have a great day!
Dang! That is impressive busting out that many strict pull ups
All the strict pull-ups!! That’s impressive! Great work!
Thanks, guys! I guess with this shoulder injury and all the strict pull ups I’ve been doing since January, it was a bit easier to do only 100, and not after my pulling muscles being destroyed, as usual… haha! But it really surprised me, the time. Thank you for the programming. It sucks, but not really… ?
