12 Overhead Walking Lunges (135/95 lbs)

B.
Every 2:30, for 20 minutes (8 sets):

*Set 1 = 2 reps @ 70%
*Set 2 = 2 reps @ 75%
*Sets 3-4 = 1 rep @ 80%
*Sets 5-6 = 1 rep @ 85%
*Sets 7-8 = 1 rep @ 90%

C.
Four sets of:

Please note Calories for each of the 20 sets. The goal of this session is to understand pacing. You need to keep this session aerobic; if you go lactic early in this session, you’ll have a very hard time keeping your paces. Push hard, but feather the redline so that you can maintain consistency across the 20 sets.

@tino@tinomarini:disqus : I see that on BTWB part D is described as “The Tabata interval is 30 secs of work followed by 1:30 of rest for 20 intervals.” But here on the site it says is every 90 sec. What is correct?

A. Did the first 4 rounds with strict MU attempt-got one hand turned over each time but couldn’t secure the other hand. So close!! Then switched to 3 strict C2B. Used 40# for the OH lunges-felt easy, need to go heavier next time.
B. 125-150. Cleans have not been going well recently-very frustrating.
C. Workout modified per Hunter:
AMRAP (teams of 3)
15/10 cal AB
20 air squats
Rest
*after ten rounds, no more squats.
We got 22+ rounds. This was fun!

A. 3 strict CTB + 12 single arm DB overhead lunges (6 each arm). Kinda lost track but did 7+rounds. I used 35lb DB
B. Up to 160. Having another off lifting day. Cleans felt heavy today so didn’t push it.
C. Will do tomorrow
D. Workout modified as per Hunter:
AMRAP 35 (in teams of 3, follow the leader)
15/10 cal AB
20 air squats*
Rest
*after 10 rounds no more squats
We got 18 rounds total

A. 4+12. So close to 5!! That was my goal. First time doing OH lunges @ 135. MU were easy, loved incorporating strict MU into a wod.

B. All at 102.5Kg (74%)

D. Alternated DU and burpees for the 20 sets. No bike or rower.

Still easing into the routine. Trying stay around 75% so joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments get a chance to get use to the movements.
