Ocean swim 600m direct to slow run, got about 10 min in and low back not cooperating, L3 nerve issue when i run more than 400m, takes out my right butt and quad. Shut it down, swam some more and climbed koko crater 1100 railroad ties up. Running will be an issue at Games. Getting nerve burned via epidural on monday…hope to find relief.
Rest it before Games Matt! No need to push it in the coming week!

Great job today Litsa!
700m and 2 miles x2 done at the lake with Jared. Swims were solid and runs were pretty fast. Feet feel a little sensitive from the runs and swimming but no cramps or injuries there.
Transition times were a little slow because of hosing off the sand, socks and shoes because of the beach sand.
So glad you got to do this with Jared!!
