18.5 – 170 Rep. Very happy but I wanted some more. I will analyze during the weekend if it is worth repeating it.
Thank you Tino for all the support throughout this year, without you and the excellent level of athletes that make up this program, none of these achievements would have been possible.

18.5 – 143 reps. I wanted to get back to that pull-up bar so bad. 4 more thrusters and I could bang out a bunch of reps real quick on the c2b. I’m happy with how focused and relaxed I kept myself through the first 4 minutes. I let myself feel bad for myself in those last 90 seconds and that cost me.
It’s one and done for me, since I’m off to Costa Rica to relax for a week. Can’t wait to refocus when I come back and hammer those weaknesses and be ready to take on 2019 ???

18.5- 172 reps, happy with effort up until that last minute. I def went into spas mode haha. Not 100% sure if I should redo it or not.
2. Running endurance from Monday 2 miles 6 min rest 2 miles 13:38/13:19
3. Rope accessory work from Tuesday

Good day of training and feeling really conflicted as to whether I should redo.

18.5: 145 reps (19 thrusters into 21s). Unbroken until set of 18s. Did 10/8 for both movements. Thinking if I break things up sooner I can maybe minimize rest. Not sure what else I can do. Happy with it as I am with the open overall.

Great work Jessie! If you break a little sooner and stay disciplined on your rest you’ll get back to those pull-ups!

18.5 – 133 broke my chest to bars up early and broke the thrusters at 15. Will redo on Monday because I think I can do a little bigger sets on the chest to bars to get a better score

Breaking is fine as long as you stay disciplined however don’t break for th sake of breaking. It should be through feel from all your learning in training.

166 – breathing felt fine, just ran out of grip at the end. That was a big limiter for me in 18.1 as well, so definitely something to work on in the off-season

Great work Brendan. You’re definitely hitting some home runs in some workouts and exposing some weaknesses that can be addressed in the off season, well after regionals if you decide to be on a team

Got 133 reps. The rd of 18 pull ups slowed down majority. Hoping to figure out more consistent pace next time.

Nice work Chris! It’s ok to break reps as long as you manage rest accordingly. You just need to be diciplined. Good luck in Monday if you repeat!

Thanks for the advice! Also my butterfly chest 2 bars have only started to come together the last few months since camp so I need to keep focusing on them to get more efficient.

142. I was way too hot out the gate. Hit the 2 minutes mark and wanted off that ride. Came up with scheme after the workout I could use to get mostly through the 21s. Not sure if I’ll have time for a redo due to sergeant interviews at work.

134 reps! Not bad for try number 1. I’ve only been doing Invictus for 10 weeks but the programing has more than got me ready for this open. I’ve never done any of the more difficult movements at the volume y’all program and it’s made my mental game so much better going into the workouts. I’m excited for these next 4 months to see how far I can progress
