For time:
Run 5k -or- Row 5k

My preference is that you run outside, but for those of you who live in sub-freezing climates, opt to row. If you’re running outside, note the course as this will be something we come back to each quarter as a good test of your aerobic capacity.

27:09.1!! I used to follow the competitor program and scale movements when needed but since leaving CrossFit a couple years back, I lost my endurance and strength. Let’s see how this new year of trying to get back into the mojo treats me!

Still sicky, and not motivated. Super grumpy for the inactivity, and the head aches. So I expect that 2018 will only get better. 🙂

Even on the south Texas border it’s 30 and raining so:

A. Back squat 5×5 @275# and crossover symmetry shoulder work.

B. 5k Row- 19:10, only other attempt at this was on 11/23 at 19:20 so happy to be trending in the right direction. Glutes were cramping from the squats but scaps felt good and warm.

Goals for the new year are increased attention to injury prevention work and to squat like Teddy!

I rowed the 5000m instead of running on single digits and snow 🙂
19:43 fueled by donuts and coffee! It seemed like a good decision at the time.
My rowing season best is 19:18. Now it’s time to watch football for the rest of the day!
Happy New Year everyone!

I’m a huge buckeye fan and I love seeing Michigan and the SEC lose. So far it’s been a great day!
