Did some cleans at 225 but timing was off…and even failed a clean and a clean and jerk at that weight. Decided to call it a day.
Rx 15min not good but cramping was in full effect… maybe don’t eat salad before working out ?

Did local box’s workout.
A. Work to 1RM on deadlift. Did 395. Old PR is 405, but didn’t want to push it today
B. 21 min EMOM (7 rounds). min 1 is x4 clean @ 135, min 2 is 14 burpees, min 3 is AMRAP double unders for 30 sec. score is counting all reps. Got 238. Burpees killed me after 5th rd.

Hey all, Taking it really easy on my knee, going to be a while before back to 100%. Goal is general fitness so I don’t need to push it. A lot of scaling going to happen. Did one workout on Christmas Eve, and another today. Goal is around every other day, 3 maybe 4 days a week. Plan: follow rehab protocol for quad tendinitis, I don’t think I’ll be too long since it’s mild. This was a bit scattered. It’s too cold to drag my kid to the gym (I walk up the road to a garage box) so did it at home with small steel playes and a mans bar. Much harder without bumper plates.

Scaled to 85#. Brought bar down below my knees but not all theway to thw floor because of tiny steel plates.
Had to stop after the first round because my toddler ce running in and I had to construct a barrier.
Did some abs and handstand balance.

-25C here today! Pretty used to it by now lol. The cold doesn’t feel that bad honestly, it’s more the short daylight that sucks this time of year. Sun only comes up at about 7-8am and goes down as early as about 5pm
Got ya beat there too. The sun literally rises today at 10:38 and sets around 2:52 No joke. Then in the summer it never gets dark. The land of the midnight sun.
