Event Rules:
Event 4 must begin exactly after 30 minutes of rest once Event 3 has been completed. Athletes may have a second jump rope as a backup. This event is scored by the total time Event 4 takes the athlete to complete. All movements must meet the movement standards as stated below. If you are unable to complete this event as prescribed in your division then please post ‘zero.’
Movement Standards:
Snatch: This movement begins with the barbell on the ground, and the athlete in a snatch set-up position. The barbell must be moved in one continuous motion from the floor to a fully extended overhead position – the barbell overhead directly aligned over the shoulders, hips and ankles. The barbell may not stop its upward descent to overhead at any point or touch the body higher than the sternum (i.e., touching the barbell to the shoulders or head and pressing will be deemed a no-rep). The Athlete can Muscle Snatch, Power Snatch, Split Snatch or Squat Snatch as long as the movement standards above are met.
Front Squat: In the front squat, the barbell must be held in the front rack position. At the bottom, the crease of the hips must pass below the height of the kneecap. At the top, the knees and hips must be fully extended. A full squat clean will count as a repetition as long as all the above requirements are met.
Assault Bike: The Assault Bike will be set for calories. Athletes are allowed to adjust their assault bike before the event to their preferred setting. The calorie count will be of that when the clock reaches 3 minutes. Rollover calories will not count.
Double-Unders: This is the standard double-under in which the rope passes under the feet twice for each jump. The rope can spin forward or backward for the rep to count.
Wall Ball Shots: The medicine ball must be taken from the bottom of the squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to hit the specified target. The ball must make contact with the front-face of the target. If the ball hits the bottom or top edge of the target or does not hit the target at all, it is a no rep. The rep is counted when the ball makes contact with the target. If the ball is dropped, it must come to a full stop on the ground before the athlete may pick it up for the next rep.
Toes-to-Bar: In the toes-to-bar, the athlete must go from a full hang to having the toes touch the pull-up bar. Both feet must be in contact with the bar at the same time, inside the hands. The arms and hips must be fully extended at the bottom, and the heels must be brought back behind the vertical plane of the pull-up bar.

Being sick for the past week showed tonight but I refused to quit. Just had to take lots of breaks.
A) 5 @ 100lbs =500lbs
B) 135lbs x 6
C) 26 calories
D) 17:15. Embarrassing but it is what it is. Toes to bar were harder than normal because my abs are so sore from 4 days of coughing. Wow! Didn’t realize it until I started the t2b.
Great job still going out and doing the comp! Glad you are starting to feel better!
Thanks. I just hate that I’m not 100% for this. I should have been around 11:00 at most.
Actually, now that i think about it, it may be a good test because I always seem to be sick at least one week during the Open. LOL.
Missed the entry deadline. Ugh.
A – 750 (150×5). All power snatch. 94% of 1-RM. Happy with this.
B – 11 Reps at 205.
C – 52 cals. Awful. 3 = number of random people at box who came over to see if I was ok while lying on the ground.
D – 10:06. First two rounds in 5 mins. Last round in 5:06! Gassed.
It is open again so you can register!
Cool, thanks! I’m in.

B. Replaced with 95# push press: 19 reps
C. 43cals. Yuck! ?
D. 6:26….Was able to do this as prescribed (40-54, Unbroken except first rep in 2nd set of du…the 10# wallball was fun?)
Yay good job Cheryl!
It must have been the 10# WB throwing you off, assuming you had to do more to make up for the light weight, haha.
Exactly!
Nice!!
188# x 5 pretty easy should have went up.
B. 8@185
C. 55 cal had more in me
D. 9:09 great until last round.
I’ll take it for being not my best.
1) 5×160=800, power snatches
2) 185×12 reps
3) 53 cals
4) 9:39
I submitted my scores but it’s not showing up, does it take a bit for it to show on the leader board?
It took about an hour before mine showed up.
Lol , oh ok just wanted to make sure I didn’t do something wrong! Thank s Silke
I just went in and published it! I have to manually publish the scores so I do it every 3 hours. I just cleaned up the leaderboard and published so you should be showing up now 🙂
Well that was humbling. To think it’s only day 1. Restarted this three times! Tried 189; 184; and then settled for 177lbs
Event 1: 177lbsx5 (missed the 5th but his the 6th. Even took one for a really short walk in the new garage gym!)
Event 2: 10 reps@225
Event 3: 44 cal- This crushed my soul.
Event 4: 8:54- This was fun. Movements I actually enjoy! WB was the limiting/slowing factor in this one.
Really fast on Event 4!!
Thanks Nichole. DUs and T2B helped that out a lot! Also the lack of AB cal probably helped a bit ?
Nice work Corey. I was dreading the snatch.
Event1:185×5=925
Event2: 5
Event3: 65
Event4: 9:43
Suffer from Plantar Facias and hurt it pretty bad last Thursday so was not able to do DUBS.
Event 1 – 125# for all 5, probably went to light (625#)
Event 2 – 5 reps @ 185#
Event 3 – 43 Cals
Event 4 no score.
Oh no Chris – glad you rested it though! Have you received some treatment for it?
JUst the “RICE” and bought new orthotics and have really started to stretch it (which I should have been doing all along). It’s feeling much better, I should be good in a week or so.
Just stretching and RICE. I had it under control and I played a work flag football game and my cleats did me in!!! Much better now, should be full go next week!
Didn’t sign up as I didn’t have all required equipment (I have an airdyne and specifically required assault bike). I train during toddler nap time so I got done all I could! Event 2. RX 145 1 rep. This was a new lifetime PR front squat Event 4. 18:12. RX. I realize not gonna be up on the leaderboard, but I haven’t had toes to bar long so this was a huge win for me. Hit failure on toes to bar on last rep. Took 4 attempts to get that 30th rep, but I got it! Personal victories for me… Read more »
WAHOO!!! Congratulations on your PR!!!!!!! And congratulations on your Toes-to-Bar! This are major accomplishments! I am so excited for you 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks! I was pretty excited! Trying to focus on my progress and personal wins!
1) 180X5: 900. No misses – all felt good. Might of had 185 in me, but I am happy with that.
2) 5 reps @ 225. My 1rm is 260, so again happy with 5 reps at that weight.
3) 60 cals – that hurt
4) 13:27 – pushed the t2b until my shoulder crapped out in the 2nd rd and it was slow from there (I plan on resting it once I get through this week Nichole!). I am inefficient with my dubs anyway, so tough wod for me. I’ll take it though – good day overall.
Heck yeah – just repping out 85% of your 1-rm like it is nothing. 🙂
Yeah buddy! Those are really coming along. Lots of progress this year!
Event 1: 90lbs, (score of 450) could have gone heavier, tried 95 in the warm up but it wasn’t happening
Event 2: 5 reps @ 135lb
Event 3: 41 calories
Event 4: 10:17
Good work Amy!
