Clean x 1 rep
Build over the course of the 10 sets to today’s 1-RM.
B.
“Five-Minute Capacity Test”

B. Bryan – 3 rounds + 2 reps.
A: 135-210 (5# pr)
B: 3rnds + 5 Rx’d
A) 85 to 150
B) RX 2r + 8 reps
I jump too hard, need to control landing.
Thanks!
Try to stay low on those burps over the bar and think more about gliding rather than jumping. That analogy may be a bit more beneficial for you. =)
A. Up to 225lb. Fail on 235lb
B. RX 50 reps(3+5). Thanks
A. 165/175/185/195/205/215/220/225/230 (Failed twice – couldn’t get under it)
B. 3+5 RX Friggin legs were dead!
Awesome job Jared! On the high pull portion of the clean try pulling yourself down a little faster rather than pulling the bar higher. Be aggressive. You are gonna clean 235 very soon.
A. 135 up to 225. Missed 235 twice.
B. 2 + 2
Awesome username haha! good work
A. 185# up to 275#
B. 5+5 Rx
super good score on the conditioning portion! way to work Kyle!
A: Clean- 155 to 240
B: 3 rounds plus 3 squat cleans. Got the first round done in a minute… then things got real.
LMAO….I felt the same way….Got through that first round and was like, “man, I’m gonna kill this WOD”
Hit that 3rd squat clean on round two….and it was all downhill from there. Nice job!
Remember guys, smooth is fast. With a movement like squat cleans, you always want to be a little conservative as it is a power based movement that we are making you repeat for reps. File this experience away and just remember for next time. Awesome work!
A. All done at 155, good position for me, will work higher next time
B. 185 lbs, done with coach watching to work position, all completed,1 miss on 8th high hang
C. 25 lbs and 1.5 pood kettle bells
D. 1:00 for 4 rounds, 1:11 slowest on last round with 15 slow deliberate. Had to break up the sets after the 5th round
A: 65 to 125 did squat cleans. Missed 135, squat cleaned it and got stuck in the bottom…sat down gracefully…kinda
B: 3 rounds even @ 95# Struggled with the squat cleans
As that front squat gets stronger, so will the receiving position of that clean. Stick with it! Wooohooo
That’s for sure!
A. Up to 150#
B. 3 + 2 RX
Feeling pretty good about today!
A. Up to 240#. A 5# PR. Couldn’t quite make it under 245#. Next time.
B. 4+4 Rx. Smoked my legs much faster than I expected.
A. Up to 295. Had a case of the Mondays!
B. RX 3 rounds plus 1. 46 total. Once again I’m very humbled by the scores I see posted here. You all are awesome!!!!
295 and you had a case of the Mondays! I would like to see your max on a Friday!!! Nice work.
Thanks bro, been stuck at 305 for awhile. It’s a very inconsistent weight for me. Some days it feels easy and like today super heavy.
Keep working on that front squat and consistency with loads around 275-290 and you will be surprised to see 305 become 315 in no time.
I will Bryce, I hit 405 on my front squat a few times now so I know it’s definitely my tech niche that needs work.
405 is big time! Awesome work Todd! Keep honing that speed and technique at submit loads and the sky is the limit with a massive squat like that! Cant wait to see your progress in the coming months!
A. Up to 135# power clean and jerk
B. 4 Rounds; power cleans 95# and regular burpees to parallettes
37 weeks and 5 days pregnant
Still killing it, nice work Kate!
I am super impressed and you are a great example of working out while pregnant, and listening to your body. I mean holy moly…I’m reviewing people on here who are around my skill level, and I see 37 weeks pregnant! Then I’m all “I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy!” LOL! I remember being pregnant over 13 years ago and that’s when my powerlifting career ended. My OB stated something like a 20# lifting restriction (or something stupid like that) I asked…”so, I can deadlift 330#, does that 20# still apply to me?” The answer was “Yes” 🙁 Anyhow…Congrats on your… Read more »
Thanks Amber! I appreciate your support and well wishes. I have definitely just been listening to my body, and surprisingly I’m still able to do most things. This is my third baby, so I feel pretty comfortable in being a good judge of what I can and can’t do. 🙂 I look forward to following you and keeping up with your progress as well! 🙂
WOW!!!! Amazing and inspirational!!!!
A. 60kg-70kg-75kg-80kg-82,5kg-85kg-90kg-92,5kg-95kg-100kg
B. 3+1 RX
Does clean
without a prefix means the same as a squat clean?
Yes. If it was anything else it would be a “power, hang, high hang… Clean”.

B: 2 + 5 @ 110#
PR stars!!
A.185 up to 300
