*Scheduling Note
– If you plan to tackle the Open workout for the second time on Sunday, you are well advised to rest or do only some light circulatory work – like bicycling – on Saturday. If, on the other hand, you have the ability to perform 15.1 again on Monday morning and still submit your score before the deadline, I would suggest performing the workout below, and then resting on Sunday.

15.1a 237 (not so happy with this…). Went to 245 and it felt like I put 50lbs more on…
15.1 – 173 Reps
15.1a – 230# C&J PR! Fired up.
Before I did this WOD, I spent an hour on getting reps/rounds faster in 15.1 and making transitions between three moves smooth. I think I can add 6-7 reps on Monday and attempt a #112 C and J.
Then I did all of the above.

C) had to skip
D) did a 15 cal row, 15 wall balls. All WB unbroken. 1:38,1:36,1:39,1:38,1:38,1:41,1:48,1:51,1:50,1:51 legs stopped working in that row!
To, Nichole & C.J. I see that a good portion of the elite athletes have not posted their scores for 15.1. Is that something you encourage? When do you recommend posting?
Correct, we encourage you to post your scores on Monday early afternoon (as long as you know you have enough time to upload a video if needed).

For the future I have one question in my mind: what do Games rules say about knee wraps for squat clean? I am able to pull under 10-15 kg more than I can squat up with Rehbands?
Rehbands are fine to use in competition.
If there’s a max squat clean 1RM in qualifiers, can you use powerlifting wraps if you squat enough below? It would put an other 10kg to my best ccompared rehbands. Other option is to squat more 😉

Right knee pretty sore from what last week unknown? Lots of Mobility and stretching today. Three sets of 15 shspu, 20 v-ups, and 25 push-ups. Hopefully tomorrow I will give 15.1 a go? Great job everyone!

Did 15.1 today. 146 reps / 247 lbs . As of now (if I understand the scoring) I might be 28th in the world. I am sure I am missing something….in any event, I really wanted 5 full rounds but I started gassing on the toes to bar. Grip was NOT the issue. Just nothing left to hike those feet up. DAMNIT
