WE ARE MOVING OFF THE WEBSITE TO FITR!

Hello lovely athletes!

This is a friendly reminder that we are moving from this website platform over the the app called Fitr!

If you haven’t received our emails and have not seen through the Facebook group, the long story short is that this website is SO OLD and has needed to be updated for ages, and we found the best platform for the gymnastics program we could. That program is Fitr, and I personally love it.

There is a new format for the Invictus Gymnastics Program, and uses the new name “Invictus Gymnastics Essentials”.
The new format is 5 days per week, spreading the work out for you and adding in the Core Training into the week. I have also taken the initiative to add extra bar muscle-up and kipping ring muscle-up work each week. Those two skills typically require more time and training, and thus I felt it was necessary to get the extra work in for you.

Fitr is a bit different though, and not perfect. I really like that on this website that you can click the link of the skill to watch the tutorial as needed, just by clicking the name of the movement that you need to view. On Fitr, the videos are at the bottom of the programming page, so you do have to look for the video. Really, that’s the worst of it.

I have though been making a huge effort to update all of the training videos, starting with a quick demo (for those of you who only need a reminder of what the skill looks like) followed by a full tutorial to describe the details of the movement. Because I’m keeping in mind that the videos are for the app, the new videos are all shot in portrait/vertical so you don’t have to turn your phone to see the whole screen. That being said, I have a monumental task of updating all of my videos, so during the transition (which could take some time) I’m still having to use the older videos that are shot in landscape/horizontal, so you may have to give your phone a 90* turn still. Trust me, I’m working on replacing all of these and will have them all up as soon as I possibly can. The videos I’m updating have been accumulated for the past 7+ years, so you could imagine how many hundreds of videos I need to do.

If you have already paid in advance for your programming, all you need to do is email info@invictusathlete.com and tell them your name and that you moved over to Fitr and they will get your account set-up by applying all paid enrollments to your Fitr account, no problem!

And thank you all VERY MUCH and from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me with your time on your skills. It’s been an honor to take my experience as a kids’ gymnastics coach over to CrossFit Invictus to help adults and do my best with them and you! I know that my methods aren’t what other “gymnastics coaches” coach, and I love that you are willing to take a look at the bodyweight movement world from my perspective. I will continue to do my best to be a good coach and teacher and come up with the most logical and innovative ways to get you to your goals quickly, safely, and with as little fear as possible.
